At Q Photo, we offer a wide variety of digital services, including printing, scanning, and restoration work. We also offer color management services.
We print your digital files using a process that exposes tradtional photographic paper, producing archival prints that will last for decades. We print at 300 to 400 dpi. Below is a table with guidelines for minimum image sizes. For pricing, see our reprint schedule.

This is just a guideline. For best results, resize your file to 300 to 400 dpi at the size you would like it printed, and save it as a maximum quality JPEG.

We scan 35mm and 120 film using our negative scanner.

JPEG files will be provided unless the customer requests TIFF files.
CDs made at the time of developing or reprints will be done at 4 base. There is an additional one-time charge of $10 for processing 16 base images.
We scan prints using a high-end flatbed scanner. We can customize these scans to your needs.
The charge is $7.50 per image. Includes dusting and color correction. More than 10 scans is $4.00 per images, more than 20 is $2.00 per image
We can also scan negatives and transparencies using our flatbed, which gives excellent results from medium and large format negatives. We can scan many formats, including 6x8, 6x9, 4x5, and 8x10. Resolutions up to 4800 dpi are available. The cost for custom scans from film is $15, which includes dusting and color correction.

Photo Restoration back to top Turnaround varies from 3 days to 3 weeks
We offer restoration and touch-up services at $50 an hour, plus a $10 set up fee.
Minor touch-ups, such as removing facial blemishes, stray hairs, and printed dates will incur a minimum charge of $10.
Major touch-ups and restoration, such as fixing faded colors, stains, tears, adding or removing subjects, and changing backgrounds will be assessed and price quoted individually by our retoucher Stephanie. All alteration work is done digitally. Your original piece will be returned in the same condition we received it, along with a CD of your restored piece. Other creative digital work, such as collage and text layout, is available at the same time.

We offer color management through Dry Creek Photo. On the website you can download our profile and read instructions on how to use it. This will allow you to view what your prints will look like on your monitor, provided that it is calibrated correctly.
