Welcome to Q Photo, Bend's only custom photo lab. Q Photo began as a mini-lab in the late 1960s with cutting edge equipment designed by Noritsu. Through the years all types of new machinery and services have been added to expand Q Photo into a full service custom lab, able to assist all levels of photographers. Today, the lab uses state of the art digital euipment as well as tried and true standbys to handle any photographic need.
Owner Paul Dederer and his staff bring over 70 years of combined photographic experience to Q Photo. Each smiling face behind the counter brings expertise in one of the many areas of photography to assist you. No matter what your level or area of interest - color photos, black and white, slides, digital, or restoration - someone at Q Photo can help you get it done right.
Quality Control
If your pictures don't matter, it doesn't matter where you take them. If they DO mater, bring them to Q Photo. We start each day by running control strips and balancing our equipment. This guarantees our customers will receive the most accurate color and best prints possible.
Unlike many color photo labs that charge cheaper rates and give you first run prints, Q Photo corrects density and color for each image before printing. We then check each printed image for accuracy and minor flaws such as hair and dust.
We closely monitor our E-6 chemistry. Daily testing and charting allows us to guarantee consistent premium quality processing of your slide film.
For our digital photographers, we offer printer profiling through Dry Creek Photo. Profiling allows you to adjust your digital images to exatly match our printer. Using this process ensures there will be no shifts in color if you choose to complete your own color manipulations at home.

Are you from out of town? We have many customers who send their film and orders through the mail and UPS. We can ship your order to you starting at $5.00 per shipment.
Approximately 75% of Q Photo's customers are commerical orders. We can establish an account for you with approved credit. Our terms are net 30 days.
